Meet Up, Share and Learn
NISCE hosts small-group events intended for a diverse group of educational stakeholders—educators, parents, activists, educational not-for-profits, school leaders and others—who are interested in learning and sharing information about diverse topics, trends and challenges ensuring that students have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. These meetings are are open to the public.

Professional Conversations
NISCE hosts an ongoing series of small-group conversations on educational topics with diverse experts and educational leaders. Held in cities across the country, these conversations are designed to foster multidisciplinary connections and greater awareness of educational issues and challenges. A typical conversation may include, for example, the head of a foundation, a politician or activist, a neuroscientist, a school principal, the head of a nonprofit that provides educational resources, an educational technology CEO and a young teacher. These conversations are by invitation and are held about once a month

Annual Symposium

NISCE hosts an annual conference that brings together leading experts and practitioners with diverse perspectives on student-centered education. While designed as a professional conference, we welcome parents and others who are concerned about their schools and systems. The second conference will be held October 23 & 24, 2014 in Boston, MA.
